One of Seattle's most respected djs, MissKick is well known for her creative programming and elegant mixing. True versatility in action, she is equally at ease setting the mood with some sultry down tempo grooves, or rockin'; the dance floor with her special brand of funk. She has made her mark around the globe, playing in Paris, Vienna, Mexico City, NYC, Detroit, Las Vegas and Portland.

An educator by day, she has taught dj skills as an after school program for aspiring young djs, mixing workshops for adults at The Experience Music Project and lectured on the history of the dj at Bumbershoot 2001

Her skill with soundscapes, samples and effects have contributed to live perfomances with bands No Futuro, Elemental, Nikol Kollars, The Michael Stegner Group, Dawnya Wittenborn, Christa Wells, Reggie Watts and MissKick vs. Manalive

MissKick was awarded the 2003 Coolout 2G TV Family Award in recognition of her commitment to Seattle's hip hop and electronic community and is currently nominated for Best DJ by The Seattle Weekly Showcase Awards. Cast your vote here!
